Make Your Own Magic

Yesterday was a 'Holy SHIT I'm riding in a rocket ship at full speed!' kind of day.  

I had the privilege and pleasure of appearing on the post-Today Show program Hello Iowa!, Des Moines' NBC affiliate.  Here's the link to watch!

SO MANY FEELS accompanied the experience - fun, ease, excitement, validation, confidence, humility, hope.  They caught me off-guard.  I let 'em come and welcomed what they came to teach me.  

Being in the studio on camera was fun and easy and exciting. Getting the opportunity to be there has been a years-long endurance test full of f-ing fear/doubt over and over again, taking chances, showing up authentically, persevering, grasping onto grit and faith.  

The photo on the left is from 2017 when I started freelancing (aka leaving the security of a corporate gig) in the industry I'd spent my entire career in.  I was just starting to attack some SHOULDs.  

The dim in my eyes tells the story.  I was 'happy' but had no idea how much better life would become with every SHOULD I slayed.  

Magic is in the moment AND it’s made in the many that precede it. What magic do you want to create? What action are you taking?
